Finished pieces are dried in large, automated, humidity-controlled drying rooms for 40 hours or more to remove moisture carefully and avoid hairline cracks.
For blocks that require glazing (faience), a project-specific engobe and/or glaze is formulated and applied to tightly-controlled thicknesses.
